Newbold Academic press has just released its second volume, written by Bjørn Ottesen, Head of the Department of Theological Studies at Newbold College: Reaching Post-Christian Europeans. This book will be available on Amazon, in a couple of weeks. It is the slightly modified version of the DMin Dissertation presented at Fuller Theological Seminary, in December 2014.
‘Bjørn Ottesen’s book’, writes Dr Bruinsma, ‘focuses on the challenges to reach Danish society with the gospel message. It analyzes the attitude of the secular, individualistic Danes with regard to religion and it suggests some approaches that may help in creating a genuine interest in the Bible and its message and a desire to belong to a community of believers. However, the book is not just useful for Danish readers. The principles that Ottesen highlights apply to many other countries and cultures in Europe and even to other parts of the Western world.’
